Description :
The Square Force Sensor Resistor (FSR) 38.1mm is a high-sensitivity pressure and force detection sensor designed for measuring physical touch, pressure, squeezing, and weight changes in electronic projects. This flexible square-shaped FSR sensor changes its resistance according to the amount of force applied to the sensing area — the greater the pressure, the lower the resistance.
This sensor features a large 38.1mm square sensing area and can detect force in the range of 100g to 10kg, making it ideal for robotics, automation, wearable devices, gaming controllers, smart appliances, and DIY electronics projects. When no pressure is applied, the resistance remains above 1MΩ, ensuring accurate force response.
The sensor includes 0.1-inch pitch pins for easy breadboard compatibility and quick interfacing with Arduino, Raspberry Pi, ESP32, NodeMCU, and other microcontrollers using an Analog-to-Digital Converter (ADC). Its peel-and-stick backing allows easy mounting on various surfaces.
This FSR force sensor is simple to use with a voltage divider circuit and is excellent for pressure detection, touch sensing, grip monitoring, and interactive electronics applications.
