Description :
The Infrared (IR) Obstacle Avoidance Sensor Module is a simple and effective solution for detecting obstacles in robotics and automation projects. It uses a pair of infrared transmitting and receiving LEDs to identify objects by detecting reflected IR signals.
When an obstacle comes in front of the sensor, the emitted infrared light reflects back and is received by the sensor. The onboard comparator circuit processes this signal and triggers the output, while the built-in LED indicator provides a visual status of detection.
This module features a 3-pin interface (VCC, GND, OUT) and operates on both 3.3V and 5V, making it fully compatible with Arduino, Raspberry Pi, and other microcontrollers.
